I am an assistant professor in the department of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I am a computational social scientist studying how new technologies and digital environments shape moral values, political beliefs, and intergroup conflict. I combine multiple methods to study these topics, including controlled experiments, surveys, and analyses of natural language in archival texts and social media interactions. I completed my PhD in psychology at the University of South Florida and worked as a postdoc at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.prior to my current position.

***I am recruiting a PhD student to join my lab in fall 2026. Reach out to either of the email addresses below if you have any questions!***
